I met Dr. Ersoy Konaş through my daughter's surgeries. My daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate. Before meeting Dr. Ersoy, she had undergone five surgeries. She had undergone surgeries by professors from Ege University and Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir. We learned that Dr. Ersoy worked at Hacettepe University in Ankara and wanted to make an appointment for a checkup. However, they told us that Dr. Ersoy had left because he had opened a clinic. We found the address and phone number of the clinic and immediately made an appointment. This journey of hope, which began in Izmir, continues with three wonderful surgical experiences. Dr. Ersoy performed my daughter's first double chin surgery. This surgery was performed at Lösante Hospital, and the results were excellent. As soon as my daughter recovered, we made an appointment for rhinoplasty. My daughter's happiness after the chin surgery meant the world to me. The rhinoplasty also went much better than we could have imagined. My daughter no longer hesitated to have her photos taken. There's no greater joy for a mother than this. Only mothers with children like me can understand me. Finally, we made an appointment for lip surgery. On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, we went to the hospital excitedly. After my daughter's surgery, Dr. Ersoy came to our room. He explained that he didn't just perform lip surgery; he also did a small touch-up on her nose. I was very curious about the outcome. Dr. Ersoy said it would be a surprise for all of us. After the surgery, my daughter went back to Ankara for a checkup. Her stitches were removed, and she wasn't given a mirror. Dr. Ersoy said, "You'll see the results yourself when you remove the tape in two weeks." The result we'd been waiting for appeared today when the tape came off on its own and my daughter cried, "Mom, come here!" The result we'd been waiting for for 23 years was visible in the mirror. My daughter's happiness and her mother saying there were no scars at all made me cry. I'm sure Dr. Ersoy has brought tears of joy to many more mothers like me. May his hands never see trouble, and may he reconcile many children and young people with the mirror. May he continue to be successful. I can say that he is the only doctor who has earned my daughter's trust with his gentle communication with his patients and his professional knowledge. I don't know how to thank him.
