Dr. Birkent is amazing. He was very patient and personable. He was also there to answer all my questions, I work in a public field where I am required to talk on the radio, and was always self conscious about my voice. The surgery was fantastic. The results were better than expected and absolutely life changing. The facility rivals any I have seen in the US or Europe. Dr. Birkent’s skill is unparalleled and his bedside manner is excellent.

I had voice deepening surgery with Dr. Birkent. It has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I love the results and I would do it all over again. My voice was very feminine and now it’s very masculine, raspy and deeper exactly what I wanted. I told Dr. Birkent that I wanted a deeper, raspy voice and he delivered. My surgery was on May 20,24 is now July 23,24 and I’m in love with my deep raspy voice! It’s everything I wanted. The hospital was very clean. The nurses were very nice. The doctor is amazing. I can text him and send him videos anytime I want and he replies very fast. He also speaks very good English, part of his medical training was in the USA. He is well-known in Turkey for voice, deepening surgery and voice feminization surgery. The surgery was not painful. You and the doctor are able to agree on the voice. The doctor is able to customize it. We all have different vocal anatomy so every voice will be unique due to anatomy limitations. It only took one hour. Right after surgery, I was in love with my voice. I couldn’t believe that I had finally achieved confidence with my voice. I’m 2 months post op and I’m in love with my voice. The doctor will prescribe you antibiotics and pain medication that you can take as needed if you have pain. You will have dissolvable stitches on the incision. You can use sunscreen or scar gel. The scar will fade with time. You are able to eat food 2 hours post op to make sure you are safe and able to swallow with guidance of the doctor and nurses. You are free to go home on the day of surgery. The best part is that for voice deepening surgery. You can start talking right after the surgery without any rest period. I loved how my voice was changing throughout the healing process. What I loved, the most was hearing how deep and raspy my voice was after the surgery! My voice got better and more stable with time! I’m super confident now when I talk. I love my results and my new masculine deep raspy voice! For guys that have feminine voices, I can sympathize and encourage you guys to do it. It will change your life forever, you will gain so much confidence just like I did. I’m so thankful to Dr. Birkent for giving me the best voice ever. I used to be so insecure about my voice for the longest time and now I don’t even worry about my voice. It’s such a nice freedom not to worry about my voice being feminine. Now I’m confident when talking to people on the phone, on video calls, giving speeches, talking in public, singing, etc. My voice does not sound feminine even if I try to sound feminine and that’s a very good feeling to have. My days of feeling insecure due to sounding feminine are over. I’m blessed with a deep, masculine raspy voice! Thank you! Dr. Birkent you are the best!

I had a voice feminization and adam apple removing surgery and im really happy by the results no one can realize that im trans. Before of the surgery my dear doctor informed me very well even after the surgery (btw its my 6th month after the surgery) and he is still answering my questions and we still in touch he is so kind and talented.❤️
