We found Dr. Cengiz Bozkurt by chance. We're so glad we did. My wife was treated for breast cancer four years ago. After chemotherapy, both breasts were removed and implants were placed. Because the post-operative radiation therapy emptied her breasts, her skin stuck to both the implants and the membranes (mesh) placed during the surgery. This adhesion caused her to be in severe pain and caused deformities. We told the doctor who performed her initial surgery several times about her condition and explained her concerns. Each time, he assured her that it was normal, as she had just had surgery, and that it would resolve over time. But months, even years passed, and the pain and symptoms never subsided.
