I must say first a the staff at the center are next to none. They are absolutely brilliant and make sure that you are taking care of not just in the center but of out of it too. I had a reaction to the anesthetic and within 15 minutes of being back at my apartment there was a taxi with my medication inside it alongside the company giving me multiple calls to make sure I was OK when you get there you’ll be treated by a lovely woman behind reception. "Today we visited Dentfix Dental Clinic. I had been feeling pain and sensitivity in my teeth while in Istanbul, and we managed to book an appointment for the same day — within just one hour! When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly, the clinic was spotless, and the dental assistant took my X-ray and OPG. They also ran a blood test for STDs. Dr Ayse examined my tooth carefully and confirmed there was no dental issue — it seems the sensitivity might be coming from my sinuses. "Where to start! About 6 months ago I started researching dental treat ment in Turkey. After much soul searching I came to the conclusion that Atlas was the right clinic for me. In June I made an appointment for treatment between 23 to 29 Sep. I had 6 implants and I will return in February for further treatment. The major work was completed on my first day so I've had approx 9 days of healing and I feel that I'm healing well. I experienced no pain during the procedure apart from the discomfort of injections to numb the areas . What surprised me most was that I had no pain when the anaesthetic wore off. I was though given a course of antibiotics and painkillers . The antibiotics obviously I took to prevent infection but the painkillers I didn't take. I was also prescribed antibiotics to go home with but so far not required. I've no regrets about the decision to travel to Turkey or that I chose Atlas. Miss Fatma is a fantastic dentist and Afsana a superb international patient manager. I'll post an update in February after my second visit."
