I went to Dr. Toygar ÜNVEREN's clinic in Bodrum on October 21, 2025, for a consultation appointment. I want to emphasize that it was a consultation appointment. I only made the appointment to get information. My brother accompanied me and asked a few questions. Neither I nor my brother underwent a physical examination. After the appointment, the consultation fee was charged to my brother, not me. (I was told this fee would be deducted from the procedure.) My brother didn't mind this much since he had already decided to have the procedure. However, when he said he wanted to cancel the procedure, they said the consultation fee could not be refunded. I was not informed beforehand that there would be a consultation fee. Furthermore, if a consultation fee was charged, why was it charged to my brother and not me? The right to decide to have a procedure, or to cancel it, is a right that cannot be taken away from patients. This attitude is completely unethical. A non-refundable consultation fee damages the doctor's image more than it damages us. Regarding the comment I wrote above, you also expressed your opinion. The consultation fee requested from my brother was 2000 TL. I want to emphasize this point: I was told that this fee, charged as a CONSULTATION FEE, would be deducted from the Botox treatment I was planning. My question is why I wasn't informed of the consultation fee when I made the appointment. Furthermore, if a fee was charged, I filled out and signed the same form. Why wasn't it charged to me? When my sister called and mentioned this, they said, "The doctor was doing you a favor." What kind of explanation is that? We have consulted with several doctors in Bodrum before, and we never paid a fee for a consultation with any of them. As I mentioned in my previous review, the amount charged may not be a large sum, but the approach of the establishment is not pleasant at all, and these kinds of negative experiences harm you. Dr. Toygar is a wonderful person and a good doctor, with his medical ethics, compassion for humanity, and professional experience. Above all, he discusses your questions and your situation in detail and provides you with the most detailed information. I met with him to correct another doctor's medical procedure. On what may have been the most difficult day of my life, I was treated without any errors or scars. He was with me throughout the entire treatment. He explained everything to me, instilled confidence, and stood by me as a good doctor.
