I'm Zekiye. I'd like to share my unbiased and personal experience at this clinic. First of all, the clinic's cleanliness and overall organization were excellent. I'd also like to thank Dr. Hayriye for her workmanship, communication, and kindness; she was extremely attentive and professional.
However, my experience with Dr. Ali Bey turned out to be an extremely negative and traumatic one. During my first visit, I explained that I was uncomfortable with the appearance of my two front teeth, and that I couldn't smile because of the irregularities in their size, shape, and color. He assured me that he would correct this and achieve a very good result. We agreed to the EMAX procedure, temporary teeth were fitted, and I was then called for a few appointments.
When the permanent teeth arrived, Dr. Ali Bey wasn't at the clinic that day, so the procedure was completed by another dentist. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the teeth at first, but after being encouraged by those around me to say, "They look great," I accepted them immediately. However, when I examined them more closely in the mirror, I realized the result wasn't what I wanted. During this period, I went to four or five appointments, each time openly expressing my dissatisfaction. Despite this, Dr. Ali spoke in a loud voice at each visit. When my wife and I went together, he didn't even let her speak, constantly interrupted her, and refused to listen, insisting that this was the best course of action. I didn't see a solution-oriented approach, and I struggled to communicate.
Finally, when I went for a filling for a cavity, when I expressed my dissatisfaction again, he used a hurtful and unprofessional tone like, "I can't keep dealing with you all the time. I can't explain anything to you. If you knew math, you'd understand." I explained that I was looking for a solution and had consulted another doctor about achieving a more aesthetically pleasing result. At this, Dr. Ali raised his voice and said, "Get out of here, let him do it."
These words are among the most hurtful things a patient can hear. Even as my eyes welled up, he adopted a snarky tone, saying, "Don't come at me with that." He also occasionally used inappropriate terms like "daughter" and "man" throughout the conversation. Hearing such rude language, while I always address him respectfully as "you," deeply disturbed me. Throughout this entire process, I remained calm and silent, as the person I was speaking to was a physician. However, as a patient, encountering this attitude and communication style was deeply distressing. This negative comment is written solely to share my own experience and to provide objective information to others.
I was extremely pleased with every step of my stay at the dental clinic. Thanks to the attentiveness, care, and professionalism of Specialist Dr. Hayriye Ertürk and her assistant Cansu, my treatment went very smoothly. I'm truly happy with the results. They perform their work with great care and instill confidence in their patients. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
