I had a wonderful experience, the dental assistants were so helpful. The Dr was nice, and also helpful with many questions i asked. 10/10 would recommend.
My experience at the Dentest Clinic was, unfortunately, a complete disappointment. I normally see another dentist, and he told me that my wisdom teeth absolutely needed to be extracted and that the pain I was experiencing was originating from that area. Trusting the experience of Selen Adiloğlu, a close friend of mine who had previously been very pleased with her, I specifically consulted this clinic where she works.
However, from the moment I entered the clinic, my experience was utterly surprising. Despite explaining my pain and the reason for the referral, the first doctor, knowing my own doctor, practically tried to send me away. He used unprofessional language like, "Go to your own doctor then; you're his patient." Furthermore, he claimed the pain wasn't related to the wisdom teeth and quoted a very high price for a root canal—far above the market rate. They clearly didn't want me to choose treatment.
I still wanted to see their own endodontist to clarify the situation. However, he also said the problem wasn't root canal-related, but also wasn't caused by the wisdom teeth, so he referred me to an ENT doctor. However, two different dentists I'd seen before had definitely stated that the cause was a wisdom tooth.
Despite all these conflicting approaches, I tried to make an appointment simply because I trusted Selen's expertise. However, this time, my painful upper right wisdom tooth was supposed to be extracted, but the system had completely incorrectly entered the information as a lower right tooth. Furthermore, I was told I wouldn't be able to have an examination or preliminary consultation with Selen, and that I would only be able to see her in the surgery. In a private clinic, having a patient have to explain their problems on the operating table is truly unacceptable. It's especially alarming not to be able to reach a doctor, especially when it comes to an impacted and complicated tooth. You can see the severity of my tooth's problems on an X-ray.
Then, when my boyfriend called to schedule an appointment, the general dentist who first greeted me commented, "It would be better if he went to his own doctor." In other words, my most fundamental right as a patient to choose which doctor I wanted to see was ignored. The approach, communication, and process management were seriously flawed.
Ultimately, I couldn't trust this clinic and went to a different dentist, and my wisdom teeth were successfully extracted. However, I was completely dissatisfied with the Dentest Clinic's diagnosis, communication, and professional approach.
This is definitely a clinic to be wary of.
I do not recommend it due to their inadequate patient guidance, unprofessionalism, and lack of professional ethics.
To avoid risking your money and time, I recommend choosing a different clinic/doctor.
There was a piece of flesh on my wisdom tooth that was causing inflammation. Even though that wasn't my main concern, they cut it out during another procedure. It's been 2-3 years and I haven't had any pain, discomfort, or inflammation. If it had been anywhere else, they would have extracted that tooth and my other wisdom teeth as well (when I went to a similar facility with a referral from my family doctor to get antibiotics, they wanted to extract all four of my teeth). You get your money's worth; no unnecessary work, no extra costs. They do whatever is best for you.
