I'm extremely grateful to the clinics, and namely Prof. Dr. Fırat Helvacıoğlu and Olga, who were super helpful throughout the whole process - starting from the initial reaching out up until the final results. My vision was poor, and I was hoping to fix it with LASEK; in fact, the case turned out to be even more complicated. I've undergone no-touch and cross-linking procedures, which take longer to recover but were the only option in my case. The surgery itself is absolutely painless - the first few days are probably the most challenging. Keep it mind when traveling to Istanbul specifically for the surgery and leave enough days after the date X. However, totally worth it! Recent control check-up showed 0 and -0.25 after my -5 and -7(!). As a photographer, I’ve finally reset my camera’s diopters to zero - and as a cyclist, I can finally see the potholes, not just remember them by muscle memory. Can't thank you enough!
