About five years ago, I had 20 crowns placed at Venedik Dental Clinic. When the treatment was completed, the result looked beautiful, and I was initially satisfied with the aesthetic outcome.
However, over time the crowns failed prematurely. Multiple crowns broke and chipped, the surfaces began peeling, and the color changed noticeably, turning gray and yellow. These were not minor cosmetic issues but progressive material and structural problems that worsened with time.
This outcome directly contradicts the clinic’s own website, which states:
“Will the veneers/crowns stain by the time? – No, we guarantee you that dental veneers/crowns will not stain at all.”
In my case, the crowns clearly discolored and peeled, which is inconsistent with that guarantee.
When I contacted the clinic to address these issues after only five years, no meaningful solution was provided, nothing is nothing.
As of now, my complaints remain unresolved. Because of this, I will be filing formal complaints with the relevant authorities, including the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health (SABİM – ALO 184), Patient Rights Units, CİMER, the Turkish Dental Association, the Antalya Chamber of Dentists, and the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
This review reflects my personal experience over time and is shared to inform others considering extensive dental work. This is unacceptable
Response to Venedik Dental Clinic:
My experience continues to be mischaracterized, so I am clarifying the facts with applicable consumer- and patient-rights principles.
This was not an isolated chip or accidental damage. Multiple crowns failed across different teeth in under five years, including broken crowns, fractured molars, chipping, surface peeling, and progressive discoloration turning gray/yellow. Under medical-service standards, systemic failures of this kind are not attributed to routine habits such as brushing, diet, or alleged bruxism without objective proof. Hygiene does not cause ceramic peeling or internal discoloration; those point to material, fabrication, bonding, thickness, or occlusal design defects.
The clinic references an expected lifespan of 15–20 years, yet attempts to normalize widespread failure in under five years. Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law, a service that fails far earlier than its represented durability constitutes a defective service, regardless of internal warranty language.
The clinic’s website states, without qualification:
“Will the veneers/crowns stain by the time? – No, we guarantee you that dental veneers/crowns will not stain at all.”
This is an absolute advertising claim. Under consumer-protection and advertising rules, guarantees cannot be retroactively limited after failure. In my case, the crowns peeled and discolored, directly contradicting what was advertised.
The warranty argument is also misleading. Several failures began within the warranty period and progressed over time. Consumer-law principles recognize that warranty expiration does not eliminate liability for latent or systemic defects that manifest earlier and continue to cause harm.
Emergency replacement abroad was medically necessary, not elective. Patient-rights frameworks do not require a person to remain untreated or functionally impaired to preserve a clinic’s internal evaluation process. Emergency care does not shift responsibility for defective prior treatment.
Finally, offering a “special price” after premature failure, emergency intervention, and added financial burden is not a lawful remedy for defective medical services.
Because these issues remain unresolved, I am proceeding with formal complaints through the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health (SABİM – ALO 184), Patient Rights Units, CİMER, the Turkish Dental Association, the Antalya Chamber of Dentists, and the Consumer Arbitration Committee.

If you’re like I was, apprehensive about having treatment please don’t be. I had full mouth implants at this amazing clinic and could not be happier. From the very first call I felt assured I had made the right choice. I initially spoke to a great guy named Burak, guided me through everything I wanted to know. He sorted everything out, cheapest flights, limousine waiting at airport. straight to hotel. The next day my treatment started, they are truly professional people from the reception to the Dental Surgeon, I can’t speak highly enough of. Everything went extremely well, I had temporary implants fitted. On my return two months later, after healing process, I was fitted with my fantastic new teeth. What a difference it has made to my life, confidence is back, and yes that Hollywood smile😁. I would like to thank all the great team, from the reception to the nurses, marvellous Dental Surgeon to Burak a real gentleman. Good luck to you all and keep up the excellent work you provide to the ordinary guy like me.
