Don't let them pass you by! The root canal treatment they performed was unsuccessful, and there's still decay inside the tooth. It might need to be extracted, which they say it will, but my doctor at the public hospital hasn't recommended it yet. Not only are they unwilling to make amends for their mistakes, they're also demanding astronomical fees for whatever they propose to do.
