Absolutely life-changing, do not know why I didn't have laser eye surgery sooner now! I can see so clearly now and to have freedom away from glasses/contacts is brilliant. Thank you to Murat and Dr Toksü (and her team) for this. Murat arranged everything for me from the airport pick-up, hotel bookings, appointments at the hospital, it was all so easy from when I first landed at Istanbul airport. There was a patients rights officer on hand that came with me to surgery at the hospital and helped translate any advice in English about the procedure, medication or aftercare. All checks carried out by the staff were very comprehensive at the hospital and Dr Toksü very quickly pinpointed my eyesight requirements and carried out the laser procedure very efficiently after a days wait. About 3/4 hours after surgery I woke up with crystal clear eyesight after a painless procedure. I really can't recommend the hotel staff at Modus enough either, you can tell they are used to looking after people after all sorts of medical procedures. I think they are very much used to running errands and picking up anything customers wanted in terms of food or medication after surgery (if you wanted it). Nothing was too much trouble for them when you were recovering. There were a few minor delays with things on the hospital side but I wouldn't rate the experience any less because of it. Otherwise I would recommend this to anyone looking for great laser eye surgery and at such a great price. It was so lovely to go sightseeing after a couple of days and see everything so crisp and clear.

I came from the UK to receive lasik treatment and was very happy with the service I received. The hotel was very nice and all transport arrangements were fantastic. The hospital was very clean and the staff were professional and very happy to help. I was provided with all aftercare medications and everything explained to me clearly. I am more than happy with the outcome and after treatment I was personally given the contact details of my ophthalmologist for if I have any questions. I would highly recommend lasik treatment here!

Go with Murat, you’ll be in safe hands. The ophthalmologist I got was great, very nice lady and professional. The clinic was very clean and top notch. I did Lasik last week and this is just amazing. The day of the surgery is honestly not the most comfortable of your life, I didn’t take the hotel package so can’t rate it but I would say that you should keep one full day for the surgery + recovery and eventually check that your hotel has nice room service options (trust me, you won’t really want to go out). Starting from the first morning post surgery you can walk in the city and I didn’t feel any pain in my eyes. I am very happy I did this surgery in istanbul and got to meet Murat’s team. They are good people.
