I waited 12 months before writing this, hoping to move past the trauma of my experience. Unfortunately, after sustaining permanent physical damage, receiving no meaningful follow-up or accountability, and later discovering that photographs of my surgery were repeatedly shared publicly without my consent, I feel obligated to warn others. I am prepared to provide supporting images and written communication to substantiate the statements in this review if required.
I underwent a rhinoplasty, mini facelift, and eyelid surgery with this surgeon. The outcome of these procedures has significantly affected my quality of life.
Prior to surgery, I was assured the procedures would take place in a modern, 5-star medical facility. Instead, on the day of surgery, I was transported to an older hospital located more than an hour outside the city, without being informed of this change in advance. Upon arrival, the facility appeared poorly maintained and unhygienic, with visibly dirty surfaces and a general lack of cleanliness that immediately concerned me. I raised these concerns and expressed hesitation, but felt pressured to proceed.
Following surgery, I developed a serious facial infection that spread to my neck, eyes, ears, and lips. This resulted in severe swelling, rashes, and lasting pigmentation changes.
Despite having paid for transportation between the clinic and my hotel, I was denied this service while visibly unwell, swollen, and in pain, and was required to arrange my own transportation during rush hour.
I continue to experience lasting physical issues that began after the surgery, including:
• Inability to fully close my left eye
• A surgical plastic thread still protruding from my ear
• Significant scarring and tightness on my right ear and neck
• A rhinoplasty result that did not reduce or meaningfully alter the size or structure of my nose
Of particular concern is the handling of my medical privacy. I specifically requested that my surgical images not be published. Despite this, photographs taken during my surgery were posted on the doctor’s website and social media platforms without my consent. These images showed only intraoperative stages and did not include postoperative outcome results. After I raised this issue, the images were removed, but they were later reposted approximately one year later.
Throughout the postoperative period, I sent detailed written messages describing ongoing medical concerns, including my inability to fully close my eye, surgical plastic threads still protruding from my ear to this day, and severe scarring. These concerns were repeatedly described to me as “normal,” and no corrective plan was offered. Responsibility for the outcomes was instead attributed to my skin type.
Based on my experience, this doctor does not have the knowledge or skill to properly treat ethnic or thicker, darker skin types. I strongly advise people to look beyond polished online marketing and focus on real experience, safety standards, and proper aftercare. This experience has drained me both mentally and physically and has left me fearful of trusting doctors again. As a result, I am now required to seek and pay for corrective surgery with another qualified surgeon.
One of the best and most professional doctors I've ever dealt with. He is wonderful and very kind, providing excellent patient care, with his expertise evident from the very first visit. His assistant is also extremely polite and helpful, welcoming patients with a smile. An absolutely fantastic experience, I highly recommend him with full confidence
My surgery was one week ago and yesterday my cast was removed. The procedure was very easy and the pain lasted only for the first two days. The doctor Veysal was very professional and kind, and his assistant (Gizem)was also very nice and helpful. It was a successful surgery and I am very happy with the results. Thank you!
