I had a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with Dr Iskender 10 days ago to reposition under-eye bags that made me look tired. The procedure went smoothly, and although final results can take up to two months, I currently have no scarring or bruising. Dr. Iskender and his team, including Gizem, were knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. Gizem in particular was very helpful with all my questions, and her kind, reassuring manner made the experience even more comfortable. The clinic is clean and well-maintained. So far, I'm very satisfied and will update this review in two months with the final outcome.
Op. Dr. İskender Alkın Solmaz is a brilliant, talented, dynamic, energetic, informative, young; yet, very experienced Doctor, I have known for 8 years now. (Including the years he worked at a hospital). He is knowledgable in his field of work. Yet, he keeps up with the latest developments both in Turkey and abroad as the specific field is everchanging. As far as his personality and his approach to patients go, he is kind, empathetic to patient’ s health issues, charming and “always smiling”. He operates on very difficult cases and I suspect sometimes he “fixes” what might have been a previously badly done operation. Although, he is too “professional” to admit that. His team, including the beloved Beste Babacan, taking care of all administrative issues and his nurse, Gizem Karadil, have stayed loyal to his practice over the years. Over all, very diligent, top service from the whole team. Lucky for the young, ambitious doctors, he is generous enough to put in the “extra hours” and passing his accumulated knowledge to them through his teachings, articles, lectures and classes.
