Last year, he performed my breast augmentation surgery. I can say that he seemed like a very caring and experienced doctor. That is, until you pay the money and have the surgery! After that, it was a disaster.
Nothing he told me about the surgical process turned out to be true. It was clear from the moment I left the operating room that my implants were incorrectly placed. He said I had a lot of swelling and that it would change over time. I waited patiently for 6 months. At the 6-month check-up, he claimed that my muscles still weren't letting the implants down and said, "Let me give you Botox there, it will go down faster and you'll be relieved." After the procedure, he even said it was his first time doing such a procedure.
Of course, the implants didn't go down. Not only did they not go down, but 3/4 of the implants were still above and to the sides of the nipple. Before the Botox, I reminded him that I'm a sports trainer and told him that if it would cause a decrease in performance after my already difficult and painful surgery, I didn't want Botox. And as I predicted, my chest muscles lost strength due to the Botox, and I started to be unable to do push-ups and similar exercises. At my first-year check-up, when I voiced my complaints, he, with his self-proclaimed genius and belief that everyone else is stupid, claimed that push-ups have nothing to do with chest muscles. I can say that this is information that even someone who has read a few anatomy books would know.
Even worse, after the operation, I started experiencing pain in a specific spot on my chest. When I asked about the cause, he pointed to that spot and gave a ridiculous explanation: "No nerve passes through there; I didn't touch that spot during the operation, I went in from underneath."
Again, at my first-year check-up, I told him I was very unhappy with my chest, that there was a clear disproportion. He absolutely refused to acknowledge his mistake. Angrily, I asked him to measure my chest with a ruler, questioning how, as an "aesthetic surgeon!", he couldn't see this disproportion. (He didn't see it, he just didn't want to admit it.) His reply was, "It's not that bad." You can imagine the rest.
In short, don't make the same mistake I did and entrust yourself to this doctor. Don't waste your money and your health. Not to mention the psychological difficulties of the process!!!!
On June 25th, I underwent a combined tummy tuck and breast lift surgery with Dr. Burce. From the very beginning, she was very clear, reassuring, and thoroughly explained all the necessary procedures. I am very satisfied with the result; I have had simpler surgeries before, but I can say that this is the first time the recovery process has been so smooth, despite it being a more complex operation. Dr. Ceren's approach and care were also very supportive before and after the process. I would like to thank Dr. Burce and her team; they are a great stroke of luck for every patient who crosses paths with them.
Finding a doctor you can trust is incredibly difficult. Ms. Burçe is your greatest asset. She's such a caring and sweet doctor, she'll enlighten you on every issue and ease your concerns. You'll receive the most accurate answers to your requests, needs, and most importantly, what's right for you. I'd like to thank both Ceren and Dr. Burçe for their support throughout the entire process.
