He was a doctor we had trusted for about 10 years. My son had congenital ptosis, and the surgery he underwent as a baby was successful, but as he grew older, his eyelid drooped again. Following Dr. Günay's recommendation, we had surgery on both eyes. On the 5th day after the surgery, he experienced severe pain, bruising, and silicone detachment in his eye. Despite our attempts to contact emergency services, we received no response that night. When we went to the clinic the next day, we were told that the 17-year-old silicone had been stretched again and that this was "normal." Afterwards, a very serious problem emerged in his left eye: his eyelid was excessively lifted, it wouldn't close while sleeping, and it was impossible to close it. It was later confirmed by three different professors that serious mistakes had been made in both eyes. My son went through a very difficult process, both physically and psychologically, and couldn't go outside for a long time. He has now undergone surgery again by another doctor, and everything is fine. I am writing this review especially for those considering ptosis surgery, so that they can definitely get opinions from other doctors as well. We suffered a lot, and I hope no one else experiences the same thing.

My paths crossed with the doctor because of our son's blocked tear ducts. We visited numerous doctors in a city like Bursa, some of whom didn't recommend surgery, others prescribed eye drops, etc., but when we realized it didn't help, we went to Günay after another doctor's recommendation. And thankfully, a successful operation resolved my son's problem. He's a wonderful doctor you can trust, especially for pediatric patients. We continue to see him every year for checkups. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist for their child, just like we did.

Dr. Günay and his colleagues took great care of me during my eyelid surgery. My surgery went very well. Thanks to Günay for his efforts and hard work. He helped me get through the process in the best way possible before and after. I am sure that they touched the lives of many people like me with their success, quality and sincerity.
