I had my hair transplant today at this clinic in Istanbul. The experience was generally okay, and the hospital itself is quite large with many patients coming in and out. However, there were a few noticeable gaps that future patients should be aware of. There were long waiting periods between each step — blood tests, consultation, and the procedure — and I had to follow up multiple times just to know what was happening next or how long it would take. It would really help if someone proactively updated patients instead of us having to chase for information. Communication during the operation was also a challenge. Most of the attendants and even the technical staff didn’t speak English, so getting answers to simple questions was difficult. For international patients, this creates unnecessary stress. I was also a bit surprised that Dr. Cinik only stepped in for about 30 seconds to ask how things were going and then left. I’ve had two transplants earlier at more premium clinics, and the doctors there were much more involved and attentive throughout the process. This clinic felt more like a high-volume, factory-style setup. Overall, the work seems fine so far, but the experience could be improved with better communication, shorter waiting times, and more doctor involvement.

Everything was very professional, from the very first conversation with the consultant to the postoperative support. Dr. Cinik personally saw me the day before the operation and again on the day of the procedure. I really liked the doctors and the team who performed the transplant — their professionalism was clearly evident, and I believe they made the procedure as comfortable as possible. After the operation, I stayed in Istanbul for one extra day, as I needed to return to Ukraine by plane first and then drive about 1,000 km by car. That decision was absolutely the right one; in fact, I would recommend everyone to spend an additional day resting at the hotel. It has now been two weeks since the transplant, and I am satisfied with the current results. I am very grateful to Dr. Cinik and his entire team.
