My first visit went great.
The surgeon was excellent — he removed several teeth, placed 6 implants, and added bone grafts. The healing process was very fast and without any issues.
The second visit, however, did not go as planned.
I was supposed to receive all my crowns within the 7 days promised by the clinic.
We booked a two-week trip so we could combine treatment with a vacation.
On the morning of day 5, the hotel informed us that it was our check-out day — and at that moment, I still didn’t have a single permanent crown in my mouth. The clinic reluctantly extended the stay by just one more day (a total of 6 days, not 7), repeatedly asking when we would move to a hotel at our own expense.
Once we started paying for the hotel ourselves, I still had no crowns. The teeth that were hurting under the temporary crowns were supposed to be treated and the nerves removed, but they didn’t have a doctor on-site — they had to call one in. Everything got delayed by another week. I finally got all my crowns placed on the second-to-last day of our trip. My whole mouth was hurting, and I couldn’t properly test or adjust the crowns just one day before my flight home.
When I noticed that several crowns were not fully seated, I told the clinic. They told me that “the gum will rise.” Every concern, every question, every pain — their answer was always: “It’s normal, it will pass.”
The clinic openly told us that they couldn’t see me sooner because they had American clients who needed everything done faster because of their flight schedules.
The doctor who installed the crowns (Betul Evmek) was irritated and unprofessional when I expressed discomfort or concerns about the crowns. I believe the attitude was biased.
They also filled the gaps from the implants with a material of a completely different color. It looks mismatched and unprofessional.
The clinic constantly advertises that they “do everything perfectly.” Well… clearly not.
Four weeks later, after returning home, one of the crowns fell off while I was brushing my teeth.
I was shocked.
I had to pay $60 with insurance ($160 without) to get it recemented. This was one of the crowns that was not seated properly. The gum still has not “risen.”
Now I can’t eat normally because I’m afraid my crowns will start falling off again. To say that I’m shocked is an understatement.
I saved money for two years for this treatment.
We flew all the way from Canada.
Now the clinic is offering to reimburse the $60 and asking me to delete my honest review.
No.
Before writing this review I should mention that I traveled from Florida to Antalya.
I went to Creative Smiles Turkey Dental Clinic
Let me start by saying that I am beyond happy and love my new smile. I used to never smile and now I can't stop smiling.
When the procedure was completed and the clinic was doing after photos, we joked because when I tried to smile, it was some goofy attempt. 😆 Now at 40, I'm learning to smile and I'm not be ashamed of my teeth anymore.
From the start Creative Smiles was excellent via conversation WhatsApp. Despite the time zone issues, there were times I received replies very late on their time.
Due to time restraints I didn't send X-rays but they said to send photos and they could give an accurate quote. I sent the pictures and and trusted their numbers because in reality, my teeth were not "very" bad.
Within a month my ticket was booked and I was off.
I provided the clinic my flight information, they monitored my flight and despite a very late flight, the driver was there to take me to my hotel.
Initial visit. After inspecting my teeth there were only a couple "issues" that needed to be addressed. And the the price only increased a few hundred dollars. I somewhat expected some play in price BUT it wasn't like some of these horror stories you hear where clinics increase the quote by thousands.
In total, I needed 3 root canals, 2 gum surgeries and a wisdom tooth pulled (I wanted the wisdom tooth pulled). $6k
Fast forward 6 days later and I received my final teeth. 24 Zirconias, Natural style, color BL2
Normally for most people, this would be the end and go home. But, I am going to recommend to anyone doing this, STAY AN ADDITIONAL 48 HOURS AT LEAST!
Within the first 24 hours the swelling goes down and you feel things with your bite that you couldn't before. Go out to eat and test them.
The day of my flight, I was in the clinic making very slight adjustments that were crucial to a perfect bite. That extra 2 days was probably the best decision I made.
I chose Creative Smiles because I saw their excellent 5 star Google reviews and another impressive Facebook review, after digging in my research I discovered a very professional "smaller" clinic with seasoned Drs with 10+ years experience. Dr. Betül and Dr. Berna were incredible!
I discovered a clinic that made it personal and did everything in their power to make you feel like an appreciated customer.
That leads me to the staff. As soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed and taken care of.
Sophia (a Jersey girl!) was such a comfort because she is able to fully understand everything I was communicating and at NO POINT did I ever feel like I wasn't being heard properly with my concerns when translation was necessary. Huge relief.
I would recommend Creative Smiles to anyone looking to make this investment. I honestly feel like my money and my time was well spent and respected by the entire team at Creative Smiles.
Thank you.
I will update my review if there are any additional issues.
Traveling alone from the United States for dental work was one of the biggest and most emotional decisions I’ve ever made — but I’m so thankful I chose this clinic and team.
From the moment I landed, Lada made sure everything went smoothly. Even when my flight was delayed two hours, she coordinated my transfer and made sure I arrived safely at the hotel included in my package. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and I felt completely secure during my stay.
Sophia, who was born and raised in New Jersey, instantly made me feel comfortable. Having someone who understood my concerns clearly and could communicate fluently gave me so much peace of mind.
Dr. Berna was incredibly patient, kind, and professional. She took the time to explain each step, gave honest advice, and made sure I felt confident with every decision. The oral surgeon was also very accommodating — I didn’t feel any pain at all during my procedure.
This was my first visit — I had 8 implants placed, with fixed dentures on top and temporary crowns on the bottom. In six months, I’ll return to receive my 25 permanent zirconia crowns.
I cried, I laughed, and I walked away with my smile — and my confidence — restored. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who cared for me with patience, compassion, and excellence.
